Good selection – There is a good selection of apartments and villas for rent on the Costa Tropical, from luxury villa rentals with pool in Almunecar to apartments on the beach in La Herradura and cortijos in the Alpujarras. There are, however, only a few hotels.

More economic/better value for money – Large families often holiday together on the Costa Tropical in a villa rental, which is often less expensive than staying in one of the few hotels here or further down the coast.

More space – You are not confined to a single room but have entire villas and apartments together with their outdoor spaces to wander around and relax in.

Special treat – Staying in one of the luxury villas or apartments can be a special treat on a special occasion such as anniveraries, honeymoons, valentines, birthdays or just the nice holiday break you deserve!
