With a few drops of rain yesterday and some of the darkest clouds in the last months over the mountains near Granada which were moving towards Almunecar, this morning it looked as if the weather today on the Costa Tropical would be hot but wet. With one of the biggest Spanish festivals of the year tomorrow it would be a “disaster” if the weather continued to deteriorate. Fortunately sometime in the afternoon the sun broke through and the clouds had disappeared – without the storm that many had been hoping for.
This time tomorrow fireworks should be going off still along the Costa Tropical beaches – provided the weather tomorrow remains fine.
