The rental villas Almunecar has to offer cover a wide area around the town and overlooking the sea including Punta de la Mona, Cotobro and Los Pinos but there are very few villas in the town which is mainly dedicated to old town houses along cobbled streets in the historic part of Almunecar and apartment buildings on the outskirts and along the beaches which follow the coast to the east and west. As a result you will normally need to have a car or taxi to get into the town from your holiday villas. Renting a car can be cheaper than paying for the taxi ride to and from the airport.
In Almunecar which is the most popular of the tourist resorts on the Costa Tropical you will find many restaurants and bars to relax at in the evening as well as some nice boutique shops for clothes, jewelry and shoes.
