International Cinema Festival Granada 2010

Classic Film Festival in Granada, Retroback 2010 is due to begin in the next few days.

It is an international event which also promotes the organization of different aspects in the world of culture such as exhibitions and concerts.

The Classic Film Festival Granada (http://www.retroback.es/) represents a unique opportunity to appreciate the films which were the seed of the language and aesthetic variations that shaped contemporary cinema.  

Looking back and renewing our perspective of the classic film text is essential to understanding the evolution of cinema, history and intrinsic need to find their own unique environmental tools.

A range of titles has been specially selected to provide a meaningful review of the history of cinema and its evolution over more than 100 years, articulated around the production of several thematic cycles, heterogeneous in nature but fascinating, where will have representation from classic Hollywood films to tapes of the vanguard of European culture, not to mention the genre film or those hidden gems that always wanted to see, always high quality copies, at best formats possible.

This Festival is dedicated to the figure of the actor Humphrey Bogart.

The event also features side events at the same festival, this year dedicated to the figure of Humphrey Bogart. The Festival will devote much of their efforts to promote activities outside their own cycles, encouraging the organization of different events in the world of culture, exhibitions, concerts, of particular interest to the amateur foot, facts demonstrating that the Seventh of the Arts encompasses much more than the sum of the films in it.
