We are not far off the middle of the year and last week there was a noticeable increase in temperatures. This proved to be a bonus for all the visitors to the Salobrena and Almunecar from Granada and inland cities such as Jaen who made the most of the holiday weekend (thursday being Corpus Christi and a holiday in Granada and other cities).
With the rise in temperatures it is not only comfortable at night walking out and about in the streets and once back home it is now time to take blankets and any even any thick sheets off the beds.
Some inland cities such as Seville, Cordoba and Jaen as well as Granada have seen temperatures rising to about 40 degrees – something that is likely to be repeated across the summer months.
