Costa Tropical Holiday Rentals – Tips

This week (8th June) the City of Granada celebrates Corpus Christi which is held in the large fair ground space in the general area of the bus station and La Chana. This is a great time to experience the atmosphere of a celebration in Granada. t is one of the largest fairs of the year in the area and within easy reach of the coast along the new motorway connection. It is colourful with many tented areas to eat and enjoy the music which is mainly Spanish (such Spanish rock and pop as well as Flamenco) and latin rhythms – including a merengue group last year. During the day there are many Spanish riding around the fair on horse back, women in traditional dresses and carriages drawn by teams of horses. At night falls (at about 9:30) the music becomes louder and people move towrds the large fun fair.
For those looking for a shopping excursion from their Costa Tropical holiday rentals this week though is not a good week to go shopping in Granada as most of the shops will be shut – and those that are not closed typically just open in the morning, despite this it is a great opportunity to go to Granada before the weather gets too hot.
