Costa Granada Beaches

The Costa Granada beaches (probably better known as Costa Tropical beaches) account for over twenty kilometres of coastline along the Costa Tropical. The beaches are of various sizes and types. Some being quite small and rocky and found in isolated coves which are secluded and sometimes difficult to reach. The main beaches around the towns of Almunecar, Salobrena, Calahonda and the beach front of Motril are long and wide with a mixture of sand and small pebbles, access is good if you can find a car-parking space close by and although busy in the summer there is still plenty of space for more towels and umbrellas. Of course if you are staying in a rental villa with a pool then you may decide just to stay there.
